Given the limited space on social media, this video needed to make a big impact despite its small size, unlike Senzig’s TV commercials. With this in mind, I focused on creating visually striking content that would immediately capture viewers' attention.

By incorporating dynamic visuals and concise messaging, I ensured that the video would stand out in crowded social media feeds. The use of bold colors and eye-catching graphics helped to convey the essence of Common Ground's mission in a memorable and impactful way.

Despite the constraints of social media, this video effectively communicates the organization's message and inspires viewers to learn more about Common Ground and get involved in their important work.

Commercial Refresh

Senzig’s embarked on a journey to refresh the look and feel of their iconic commercials, which had been a staple for decades. To achieve this, I incorporated modern music, eye-catching transitions, and enhanced videography, breathing new life into the beloved ads.

While modernizing the commercials, I ensured to retain the signature outro that locals have grown to love and recognize. This combination of updated elements with a nod to tradition resulted in commercials that resonate with both loyal customers and new audiences alike.

The refreshed commercials not only maintain Senzig’s legacy but also pave the way for continued success in captivating viewers and driving engagement.

Senzig’s Fine Home Furnishings stands as a cornerstone in the Shawano area, boasting a legacy spanning over 50 years. Specializing in furniture, mattresses, appliances, and electronics, Senzig's has been a trusted name passed down through generations, now under the ownership of Todd and Wendy Senzig.

Todd, the charismatic face of the company, has never shied away from the spotlight. Known for his engaging presence in local commercials, he has become a familiar figure in the community. With his infectious personality, Todd has coined a catchphrase that resonates with locals: '…only at Wisconsin’s Furniture Giant, Senzig’s in Shawano!' - a line often accompanied by his signature pose, hands raised in recognition.

From childhood memories to present-day admiration, Todd's commercials have left an indelible mark, making Senzig’s a household name synonymous with quality and authenticity in the Shawano area

The Problem

Senzig’s recognized the need for a more tailored marketing approach to strengthen their long-term presence in the community. While their TV commercials, popularized through local broadcasting stations in Green Bay, had been effective in showcasing Todd's charismatic presence, the rest of their advertising lacked cohesion.

At the time, Senzig’s relied on a patchwork of resources and vendors to piece together their advertising efforts, resulting in a disjointed design approach. With multiple designers working on different ads, there was a clear need for more cohesion in the design side of things to enhance their overall brand consistency and messaging.

To address this challenge, Senzig’s sought to streamline their design process and create a unified brand identity that would resonate with their audience and reinforce their reputation as a trusted home furnishings destination in the Shawano area.
