Bringing Big City Awards To Small Town Shawano!

I attended an award show on Feb 27th called the United Adworkers 99 Awards Show. They choose 99 projects from all of the submitted works from around the state. I attended this show back when I worked at a design agency in 2019 as a graphic designer. It was a lot of fun to see projects that I worked on displayed in front of some major agencies. Now it’s even more rewarding to see MY work up there with my name on it. It’s an incredible feeling that I’ve always dreamt of.

I submitted 3 projects; North Country Homes Brand Refresh, WAMSCO Rebrand, and Stubborn Brothers Brewery T-Shirts & Labels. I received bronze for my work with Stubborn Brothers Brewery and I also received two merits for North County Homes and WAMSCO. I was one of two design contractors that won an award against these massive agencies. That’s probably what blew my mind the most. I was able to snag one of those awards that would’ve gone in the large collection these agencies have. Don’t get me wrong, they certainly earned it, their work was fantastic.
