Horseshoe Bay Farms

Horseshoe Bay Farms, located in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, is a historic agricultural site encompassing 12 structures on 8.5 acres. Established between 1918 and 1920, it was designed as a state-of-the-art farming operation. Today, the non-profit organization Horseshoe Bay Farms, Inc. is dedicated to preserving, rehabilitating, and activating the property to serve as a center for learning and culture, honoring its legacy while fostering innovation.

I was tasked with creating two t-shirts that represent their mission and unique structures located through out the property.

This first illustration was inspired by the many barns around the property. Filled with many educational resources and preserved historical artifacts. The color scheme was inspired by the gray color of the barns and the location of the barns on a waterfront. The text is loosely based off of the front badge I created accompanied by their mission statements.

The second t-shirt I was tasked with I wanted to base off of their iconic stick work structures. These are made with thousands of sticks intertwined with each other.

I wanted the two designs to complement each other so I illustrated this one at night with the reversed color scheme of the first one.
